This Labor Day weekend Dan introduced me to Las Vegas. I really loved it and we had a whale of a time. I hope we will return, next year, when I will ride the "New York, New York" roller coaster WITHOUT a hangover!

A particular highlight for me was "Star Trek: The Experience", which demonstrated real imagination by its designers and real commitment from its cast-members. Sadly, The Experience closed for the last time the day after we left, after more than a decade of operation. In the above photo Dan and I are about to enjoy our "Romulan Ales" in a replica of "Quark's Bar" from Star Trek: Deep Space 9. Romulans apparently enjoy Budweiser more than I do, but the ambiance in the bar was marvelous!
