Road trip in the Berkshires

This weekend Dan and I went for a road trip through the Berkshires. Sections of Route 7 and Route 2 were indecently beautiful and we had a great time in the summer heat. We spent Saturday night in the town of Bennington, VT, but also drove through towns in MA and NH. Our final stop before heading home was Mass MOCA, the largest center for contemporary visual and performing arts in the US.

The gay mafia

Brian recently told us about a cool event in Boston, run by the gay mafia. Naturally wee all wanted to go and here we are getting ready for a night of style, stolly and staggering bar-tabs.

Graham at winner's circle

My brother Graham recently visited me in Boston and particularly wanted to visit the winner's circle of the Boston marathon to find the name of his coach, the last American to win America's most competitive marathon.

Trip to Lyon, June 2007

ESHRE is the largest annual conference in the field of IVF. This year it was held in Lyon and I was able to get a few hours to look around the city. The food was amazing - everyone should try pig's cheek!
Here I am with some friends and colleagues after a particularly exquisite dinner.
