This weekend Dan had the great idea of taking a ferry out to the many islands in Boston's harbor. We landed on Lovells Island and stayed for a while, flying our kite on the beach. It was a lovely day :-)

Alex is raising funds for rethink

Last year my mate Alex climbed a mountain in Peru to raise funds for the UK mental health charity 'Mind'. This year he's climbing Mt.Vallunaraju to raise money for Rethink, a charity that works to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life. I can't imagine that anyone does not have friends and family affected by mental health issues,

This 4th of July weekend Dan and I went to Durham, North Carolina, and stayed with his sister, Julie, and her husband, George. The weather could have been kinder, but we had a great weekend, anyway.
